A New Beginning: A Message to Our Partners
Our family is ushering in a new era that was first paved by previous generations. My grandfather, Jesse W. Couch, was a fierce guiding force for everyone in our family. We lost a leader but gained so much by his shared wisdom and everyday actions. We're reminded of his presence by the legacy he created and responsibility he bestowed on us with the creation of his private foundation.
I've worked for technology startups for years as a digital marketing professional, and I'm passionate about this next chapter of life. There is a convergence of the life lessons my grandfather taught me, and the career skills I've learned taking place that feels preordained. I've tried my best to live my life one day at a time and allow my decisions to be guided by fate. I'm humbled by the opportunity to lead the foundation and help those in need to the best of our ability.
The world is evolving, and new leaders are emerging in the non-profit world. We have a lot to learn, but we will be exploring new ways to help those who are aligned with our charitable programs. We will work to provide an experience unrivaled by our peers. We're a family that will fight for the causes we believe in and advocate to rally others.
Our charitable programs will focus on preservation, education, and wellness. Each program is aligned with our passions or skills that we can offer others. Preservation will focus on helping communities restore or protect historical architecture and conserving important environmental properties that impact communities. We will seek to further education for all who need it. Lastly, we will promote wellness and mental health programs, treatment, or education.
We are just getting started and a new beginning is upon us! There is a lot to learn and so many communities we want to help. Life is all about the journey and we look forward to sharing ours with you.
